Former Una Sportsman's Club President Grady Liles Passes Away

FLORENCE, Ala. K8彩乐园体育名人堂成员、长期担任体育俱乐部主席的格雷迪·莱尔斯于周二晚上去世. He was 81. A long-time Lion fan and supporter, Liles served as president of the UNA Sportsman's Club for more than 20 years, taking the lead in building a strong support organization for the UNA athletic department.For his support, he was inducted into the UNA Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 1998. 莱尔斯是1985年将美国大学体育协会第二届全国足球冠军赛带到肖尔斯地区的幕后推手，并担任肖尔斯全国冠军委员会主席长达四分之一世纪. 他也是哈伦山奖杯的创造者- NCAA分部第二大学足球年度最佳球员奖, named for the former Lion star. Funeral arrangements are still pending but, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Grady Liles Endowed Scholarship for UNA Athletics.
